ticket in NYC
I got a ticket today in New York City, or at least I was told I would be getting a summons in the mail. Does this make sense at all? I've gotten a few tickets in the past and always got it right there. He just took my license, not ins or registration and wrote a little on his note pad and that was it. I'm not even sure he wrote the correct address as my license has my new address on the back. Also does anyone know if New York tickets transfer to NJ? I plan on fighting the ticket anyway but if its just a fine I may not bother.
Thanks
Andy

First of all, yes NJ takes NYC points, but NYC doesnt take NJ points. Second, you are NOT getting a ticket in the mail.
That is not allowed in NY.
