Default It was that time...........

So, over the weekend I gutted my ARAI RX7RR and washed the interior. Completely cleaned and polished the shell and the removed the visor and side covers and silicone lubricated the slide points for the sheild.

I usually hit the interior of the helmet with some Febreze between cleanings but that just wasn't cutting it anymore.

This is a great way to "freshen up" your helmet, especially mid Summer.

Anyone else?

My arai needs a good cleaning, but until I get another bike there really isn't much point I did get to ride my old bike the other night my friend just put a steering damper on the old R6 and it made a big difference. That was the first time I have had my helmet on in months....

helmet; most liners are removable, avoid odor de bush, wash it often. i have seen people use a spray on their leathers at the track, sounds like a good idea.

All of the ARAI helmets we've bought came with small tube (think eyedropper) of silicone lubricant. It really does make a difference.

Like I said, a shot of Febreze works really well between the all-out washings.

You sure you don't mean one size larger?
