Suzuka with Hardtop passes Jeremy while he's driving the KTM from his house to work towards the end of the show.

i am wondering why the ariel atom wasn't included in the challenge

 

The car Hammond drove was neat but nowhere near a "track day car". Also, there's no way that Caterham wasn't faster around the corner than the KTM X-Bow - Captain Slow just didn't have the intestinal fortitude to push it anywhere near its limit.

 

They showed the Ariel atom on the show floor, but I think it was probably too good, and nothing else would compare... so for the sake of the show they used lesser ones.
