That car looks like Toyota's version of a Hyundai Genesis. In other words, it looks great, and a boxster engine with rwd and maybe an awd version is great news. I'd love to see Toyota make a fun car again. You can't beat rwd in a small fun car.

It looks pretty good. The front is aggressive but the back/profile are less in your face. Overall, it's pleasing to look at.

With 200+ hp and 2800 lbs or so, it'd be quite a bit of fun without breaking the bank. Not sure if that'd make it a Genesis Coupe (with the turbo motor) beater or not.

Either way, it looks like a great start.

I wish these fun and affordable cars were in the pipeline and eventually available when I was younger.

I thought it was a subaru, not a porsche engine.

Boxer is the name for a flat horizontally opposed engine.

I'll believe low weight when I see it sitting on the scales.

Actually, he was correct - I meant to type boxer not Boxster!

"excitement injection" indeed. They haven't had anything exciting since the 2nd Gen MR2. I don't know what they were thinking about with the MR2 Spyder, a weak attempt in my opinion.
