To the OP,

The general public can't tell the difference between a nicely modded s2000 and a Pep boys fart can sticker civic. Most s2000 owners resent that we get lumped in with the same group as drives the latter. Are s2000 drivers better than civic drivers? That's debatable. Do we want to be seen as a separate group? Probably.

There's was a thread in this forum a few months ago called "Post your ricey past". Check it out. Everyone has a shitty car in their past.

Sure, it's just a Carolla with a few mods and some stickers, but it's not like it looks terrible. I've seen a million body kits that look much worse.

 

I like my cars to be close to stock as possible. But if this car makes you feel good, good job on tailoring it to your taste.

I can't figure out who is more dumb. The guy who rices out a Corolla with Transformers stickers and posts pics on a S2000 site with the expectation that no one will bash him. Or the guy who tries to reason with somoeone who would do such a thing.

At first look I thought it might actually be a special edition that Toyota sold. Like the Terminator 3 Tundras. Those things were a joke. A guy I work with owned one and I LOLed every time I saw it. But I never gave him a hard time for owning it, because it would be pointless to bash someone dumb enough to spend money on something so unbelievably pointless and random. Just LOL and move on.
