TSX or TL?
I am looking for a new daily driver. I am interested in both the TL and TSX. I would like a luxury sedan.
They will have a little bit of higher mileage as my budget is $15k or so.
No matter which one I go with I will be getting a 6spd. I like the LSD in the TL and the stiffer suspension that comes with the 6 speed.
Which would you guys recommend and why?

The whole point behind the TSX was the high-revving four in a nicer sedan than an Accord.
The TL is an entry level luxury sedan with a fairly high revving V6.
I'd drive both before making a decision, and since both are fairly common you should have your pick.
But if you want a "luxury car" I don't know why you would want the TSX. It's not a luxury car, it's a "sportier" sedan than a four-cylinder Accord or Civic. But it's not sporty at all compared to sport sedans from BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Cadillac, Lincoln, et al.
The TL is roomier and because it's heavier will ride smoother and feel more solid, and the engine is strong enough to make it faster than the TSX in just about every performance category as well. And the difference in mileage is negligible.
I would only get the TSX if you really wanted a TSX because it's kind of unique. For the same money, the TL is really a lot more car.

TSX is just an Accord that hasn't been victimized quite so much by American market demands (cost cutting, super-sizing). It's less luxurious in the sense that it's smaller and the ride isn't plush. On the other hand, it's a bit better equipped without the obviously cheap interior of the Accord. It's definitely built to a budget but the interior in it comes away without looking liking cost was the overwhelmingly decisive consideration.
The TL is a completely American car designed off the American Accord. It's a nice car, but again, in no way is it a luxury vehicle. Like the TSX it escapes the cost cutting that's befallen Honda, but it is what it is which is an American Accord.
The TSX basically drives like an Accord should whereas the TL drives like the present Accord does. The TSX is fairly well sorted, not a lot of body role, some degree of feedback from the wheel. The TL drives like a soggy lasagna noodle: Big and floppy. They both are respectable performers for their class (which is family sedans). The TL is more serene and comfortable, the TSX more responsive and less comfortable. The TL's definitely the better luxury car but it's no sport-sedan.

A typo. Sort of like a your horrible use of commas and apparent confusion on went to start a sentence with a capital letter (always) versus a new paragraph (not always).
There are plenty of cars that drive like soggy lasagna noodles and put down respectable performance numbers.
We are talking about a rebadged Accord here, after all.
One would think that "soggy lasagna noodle quotient" is clearly not a "performance metric".
I'm sure the TL beats the Fit in every performance metric as well.
Most cars beat the Fit on every performance metric.
Despite that, and its other flaws, the Fit is a pretty fun car to drive.

Arguments about the cars and about grammar aside, they're both okay cars. Neither is a luxury sedan unless your definition is in relation to some very inexpensive cars. As long as you're not talking about buying new ones, they both look good. My guess is the only way to decide between them is to drive the specific year models of each that you can find in your range.
Thanks for the replies guys...
I need to drive both of them, the only problem is the closest example of both cars are about 2 hours away. Its tough for me to find time to get out to Pittsburgh and drive them.
Should I be looking at different cars?? Any suggestions? Could I be getting more for my money?
I'm 23, So I do appreciate and prefer some sportiness to a daily sedan that I will be living with every day.
What other cars could I be looking at?
