Looks like Toyota is upping performance a little bit on the ex-BRZ

The extra 5lb/ft of torque doesn't sound like much either but if they 'fix' that annoying torque dip in the low/mid range then the car would honestly drive a lot better.

I was just gonna say if they flatten out the power band it'll be very noticeable.

They got a new intake Mani and 5% gains which would mean like 210hp. So I assume no more torque dip.

5% peak doesn't mean no more torque dip. Lol that happens at like 4-5k rpms. Interestingly enough, UEL + tune seems to be the way ppl are eliminating that dip. If no changes occur to the car besides a larger intake, Id imagine it will still have "the dip"

It's pretty easy to get rid of the dip via the aftermarket. Makes you wonder why Toyota/Subaru are too incompetent to fix it on the OEM side of things.

And this news revelation didn't need it's own thread. Could have just gone in the million page long Twins thread.
