actually, the best idea would be to have a variable ratio rocker along with the cam phasing. This would give you the best of both worlds... BTW the variable rocker is BMWs Valvetronic.

The future is a camless motor. Imagine valves that were computer controlled with infinite variance, relative to temp, location of piston relative to RPM, A/f ratio, and so on.....that is the future my friends
