So, this is post-worthy because it's a guy in a Viper? I'd guess this happens all the time, he wasn't doing anything particularly stupid. He changed into a lane where the traffic had come to a standstill and he couldn't stop in time. Sucks for him.

I'd say, passing on the right, accelerating towards the tunnel exit were he couldn't see what was ahead of him due to glare, that was pretty stupid.
Driving a car safely in traffic is exceedingly easy. Multiple failures in judgement let him to his fate.

Yeah, accelerating out of a tunnel is not the smartest move, but that sucks. Is this in Chicago? The offramp is a poor design and traffic backs up on the highway - accidents like that happen all the time. Traffic should never come to a stop on the highway.
