Well, it's interesting looking...

It doesn't look like it's a true convertible with the back window... it looks like a cross between a Del Sol and a T-top or something.

It still looks like a beetle to me, and I would never own one of those. No offense intended, but they are way too girly for my tastes. It's just too round. Give it some harder edges and we can talk...

It reminds me of an Opel Speedster and while the front is so so, the rear looks decent especially with the center exhaust and tail-lights.

I agree, it's a t-top as opposed to a convertible. Actually, I just wrote that up quickly and didn't give it a second thought since I found some search results here and there since I didn't know the name.

Let's see what they actually do with the looks, if they build it.

Reminds me of an Elise. Is it RR or FR? (It better not be FF!)

The article in the June edition of the UK magazine 'CAR',

Reports along the lines: Power 150BHP FSI engine (as indicated in the above article also). Weight 600kg-700kg (1320lb - 1540lb). A price equivalent to a base 1.8t Golf.

mid engine rear drive.

For car enthusiasts this can only be a good thing. A competitor to the Lotus Elise and Vaxhaul VX/Opel Speedster for less than a miata!!! We can only hope it make it this side of the pond.

NS2000X

PS: I'd consider buying one if they hit this price point over here, (I'll take one in Black).
