A big giant truck seems like a strange option if you don't need the cargo/tow capacity, or aren't going hardcore off roading - especially if you're budget limited.

How's the weather in your area? AWD a big plus? Something from Subaru seems like a solid choice.

Make sure you know how long it's been since the turbos and timing belt have been done on an S4.

WRX is probably more reliable.

I just bought a 2005 silverado 2dr with a 5.3 v8 for $12,000 with 31,000 miles on it first truck, first v8, first automatic vehicle for me. I am damn happy i got it with the s2000 in storage for winter next truck will be a duramax or cummins hopefully in a couple of year
