Wavy disc brakes
What are the advantages of wavy edged discs? Anyone ever use a set on a car?

I think it is supposed to be slightly more surface area for cooling, or maybe just for looks...

braking isn't important? they're saving what, 5 pounds total? Inexpensive way in a car with a $110,000 base price?
I'd look for weight saving in a 4500-pound car else where. I don't think it's for weight saving. |
BBK will loose some unsprung weight. Carbon/aluminum driveshaft and axles for rotational mass. Also a set of rpf1( one of the lightest). About those rotors..... I have seen them. Never seen them on track. Don't know much about them.
