Default What the....

Anyone heard of this car yet? I found this surprise at Fresh Alloy:

It looks like a pissed of squirrel with nut-filled cheeks to me. Although some of the mods sound cool, I'm not sure a $30,000 Altima (my guess on the cost) will tempt a lot of people.

that was in Autoweek this week....... it says "250hp" or more..... the stock v6 3.5L altima already has 250hp, so it better have close to 300hp to make it worthy of "SE-R" badging.???

I am not big on any high horsepower fwd car......

Well is definitely won't have 300 horses. Not if the Maxima has anything to say about it.

SE-R cars have never really been high-output engines. The original Sentra SE-R only had 140 horses, and the 200SX version only had like 145 to 155. The latest Spec V model only has 10 extra over its regular SE-R and 2.5SE brothers. Nissan usually saves big HP bumps for brand new models.

If this package is intended to do anything, it's meant to sharpen the driving dynamics of the car. This SE-R package is probably a test bed for what will be the regular V6 Altima when it hits its next generation.
