Default What car after S2000?

Hello all,

I moved to a condo without any underground or garage parking available here in South Korea, and I need to move from my beloved, much-driven S2000 to something else. I've owned two S2000s, and have been through at least six sets of tires. I've also started to daily drive about 50~60 miles a day. What's your suggestions?

Driving style:
Monthly attendance at track days / time trials
Biweekly canyon carving

Criteria:
- 200hp+
- Dual clutch / automatic transmission
- Under $28k cash
- Fun to drive.
- AWD / RWD / FWD is all OK.

I've been considering either G37 Sedan or G37 Coupe with 7spd auto and getting a clutch LSD and final drive ratio in it. But it's rather heavy, and while it has a lot of power, the sluggish throttle response makes it not as snappy to drive (difficult to rotate with gas input). A E92 M3 would be ideal, but ones with 40k miles are still going for $35~40k here and it's out of my price range.

I've had a Mk6 GTI with DSG for a while, and I loved the transmission in it. Didn't like the chassis so much though at speeds under 100kmh.

Suggestions please!

You have to move on just because you have no covered parking? I think not keep it

Exactly... If you're stuck on buying a new car, you're not going to find a better fit than the twins. If you're open for entertaining something used - then maybe a used Boxster or G37 - depending on how much utility you want.

996 911 would be on my short list but keep some money aside for maintenance.

Why does moving out of garage parking necessitate selling the S2000?

Hmm, I wonder what a used Boxster w/PDK is going for? Tons more fun than a g37 or is250.
