Default What to get next?

I'm getting rid of my evo for reliability issue paranoia and I'm going to go with something I can enjoy and not toss too much money at and still be reliable.

Contenders:

2006+ s2k
-2 seater (bad)
-convertible (great)
-Cheap (good)
-Reliable (good)
-Somewhat expensive to mod (bad)
-Fun (good)

2012 5.0
-Extremely fast (good)
-Little modding would be necessary (good)
-Decent reliability (soso)
-Expensive (bad)

370Z
-Little modding would be necessary (good)
-Expensive (bad)
-Fun (good)
-Two seater (bad)
-Reliable (good)

2007+ Si Sedan
-Cheap to buy (good)
-Cheap to modify (good)
-Reliable (good)
-Fun (good)
-Room for a baby (good)
-Everyone has one (bad)
-Somewhat slow (bad)

Mini S (supercharged or turbo)
-Slow (bad)
-Easy to park (good)
-Run (good)
-Soso reliability
-Little modding would occur (good)
-Kinda gay looking to some (bad)

Fit with k20a2 & Jackson Racing supercharger
-Requires more work to modify (bad)
-Still extremely reliable (good)
-Unique with the swap (good)
-Looks like a grandma car (bad)
-Room for a baby (good)
-Best gas mileage (good)
-Cheap to buy

C6 Vette
-Requires little modification (good)
-Expensive (bad)
-Two seater (bad)
-Reliability soso
-Fastest (good)
-Expensive for the few mods needed (bad)

Keep in mind, I have a beater now and if I were to get the s2k I would get another nicer beater in it's place. If I get the 370z or vette, I would keep my cheap beater I have now. The others, I would be fine and sell my cheapo beater. Reason being is eventually we're going to have a baby and whatever I get I'm going to keep through it all. Also, my wife has a car that can transport the baby.

I've owned the s2k and 2 si's before and they were nice. I got rid of them because I thought I had to have something extremely fast and here I am wanting something more reliable.

Everyone has two votes.

Uh let me just chime in and say a 2007+ Civic SI IS NOT EVEN SOMEWHAT SLOW, it's SLOW. It does handle well though after you've gathered speed for miles...
I have one, it's almost painful to drive after my other cars, I guess that's why I own the Porsche too

Seriously though, coming from an EVO it will not even feel remotely quick..

It will seems slow next to a porsche yes, but it's about the same as an s2k except it's fwd.

Also, I'm not out to have the fastest car in the world. Just something that's fun, quick, reliable, looks good, etc.

1. write them all down on some paper
2. put the papers in a hat
3. lift hat above your head
4. shake hat gently to stir up the choices
5. draw paper at random
6. spend money and enjoy

On your list, I'd say the CooperS. If you have "slow" on its list, then you should have "slow" on the S2000's list, too, because I was on track with one (supercharged) and with just a pulley upgrade, he was at least even with me on the straights.

My other vote would be a toss-up between the S2000 & C6.
