A couple of Bugatti Royales reached $8 million US a few years back. You could probably do a search on Yahoo or Google and find more details.

Almost added something useful here.... Yes, a 250 GTO reached 13-14million at auction. Makes ya wonder who has that much money to spend on a used car=)

I believe it was going for $1.4 million dollars. This was from the 2000 issue though. It's possible that something else has taken it's place.

Well, are you talking about street cars or any kind of car? Production car or concept car? It makes a big difference.
