What would you do?
Looking to make a change, and have found 2 great cars/deals, but can only buy 1. I think I know the answer, but just thought I'd solicit opinions from the peanut gallery:
Option 1: '07 Cayman S. Options: Sport chrono, xenons, colored wheel caps, heated seats, auto climate control, Bose, self dimming mirror, rain sensors, floor mats, Cayman stock 18's, clear sidemarkers, completely stock, red, 710 miles, 6 speed
Option 2: '06 M3 Comp. Pkg., Interlagos Blue Metallic with Gray Leather Interior, 1,980 miles 6 speed, fully loaded (nav, sunroof, cold weather pkg. power seats, rear sunshade, etc.)
Both had about the same MSRP, and are about $10K off from it.

What? No soft top?

Chris, did you see this?
Cayman S vs Boxster S vs S vs ...
I think the B-Mer is great! You can't go wrong with it. Every car -- including the Cayman -- will be outdated sooner than soon. That shouldn't bother you. BMW makes the best cars in the world. I guess cost is not a factor,-- but unfortunately they both have to be bought with Euros, and the US dollar doesn't go very far right now in the exchange.

I think I'd have to take the Cayman S. I love the M3 - it is such a great comprimise and all-rounder while offering pretty substantial performance - but the Cayman is just a lot more focused and that's what I prefer. With an M3 replacement just around the bend, I'd either wait on that or get the Cayman S.
Really, though, there is no wrong answer here. I wouldn't kick either out of my driveway.
