Default what's it about riding a harley

ok, so today at school, I parked my bike next to a harley. The bike parking lot was kinda crowded. So I parked a little close to that harley, while I made sure I left enuf room for the guy. Then when I finished my work and got out, the harley guy was there, and said to me:" you gonna have to park crap further away from mine" or sth like that despite the fact he's got enuf room. I explained to him that the lot was crowded when I got there and more importantly I left enuf room for him. Then I was pissed off enuf to not remember what he said in return, anyway, that was irratating enuf.
knowing full well that you can't argue with a harley rider, and I have more important stuff to worry about at that point, I just took off, in fact I don't even know how to argue with that guy. oh, b4 you as, the harley rider is definitely not a prof.

Yeah it's strange... I know guys that behave and conduct themselves in a gentlemen like fashion but when they get on their Harley's.....It's full tilt prick mode.

Harley riders are just mad because they bought a slow, overweight, mechanically unreliable, low-tech piece of junk and paid twice what you did because of the name on the tank.

Well thank goodness all of the folks riding all the other brands and types of motorcycles are all courteous, thoughtful, and respectful

Man, what a bunch of elitists. Late model Harleys are pretty decent bikes. They are what they are because that's what their customers want. If Harley came out with an inline 4 sport bike, my guess is that they wouldn't be able to give them away. They know their customers and are doing very well. One aholey doesn't make everyone who rides one a butt.

I don't want one, but there are plenty of people that do.

I'll agree they are definitely what their customers want. But don't start about being decent bikes. What exactly is so decent about them aside from style and heritage? Compared to cruisers from, well, anyone else... Do I like the style? Heck yeah. I'd love to have an original HD knuckle-head or Indian in the garage. Give me a suicide shifter! Not for my only ride but for just cruising.

I can't believe HD gets their customers to pony up for Screaming Eagle enhancements like smoother castings that they should have come with from the factory!

And yeah, it annoys me that drag-pipe HD's get such a break from law enforcement while uncorked sportbikes are the scourge of the Earth.

edit - Have you seen the HD Destroyer? Oh yeah, that sounds smart. Let's pay >$30K for a race-only bike with most of the serious drag-goodies assembled OEM that does the quarter only a tenth or so better than the latest $11K Japanese streetbikes (mid-low 9's). Give me a break!
