just turning your head isn't going to cut it in the S2000 with the top up. If you do the stomach crunch and either turn head or use the mirros the whole way, as you are crunching, you can survey the entire lane next to you. Little convex mirrors are for trailer or old people. Besides, stomach crunches are good for you!

Does anyone know how much it costs to install LaneFX on an S2000?
I had mine installed at Mr. Tunes in Ann Arbor. They charged just under $300. But that also included a custom pod for the LaneFX activation buttons (Eventhough I really use it just with my blinker) and had them route the main unit to the center coonsole compartment so that it's nice & out of the way.

IMO worth every penny.

Just setting it wide so that you cant see your own car is best, dont forgot to turn your head a bit to check to your side...

I gave up and goy the convex mirrors. It is a little ugly, but it is a lot easier to live with.

One problem with setting the driver's mirror wide is that when you're parallel parked your inside rear view could be blocked by the vehicle parked behind you. Check your mirrors and you see nothing. But you could be missing the guy doing 30mph 100 feet back. After a couple of "surprises" I never leave a parallel spot or open the door without scrunching around and eyeballing the road.
