Like Rain X, but it stays on there much better and it looks easier to apply too. They tested it through 30 car washes and it held up pretty well.

I'd be more impressed if it survived regular wiper blades for a year of infrequent use. It's probably still just -SiClx or -Si(OR)x based silanizing agent formula, just like Rain-X. All of that stuff degrades in sunlight sooner or later, and once it does it is virtually impossible to remove (you might try hydrofluoric acid). Don't use that shit unless you are prepared to replace the windshield to get rid of it.

try Aqua-Pel from PPG. It is the best product I have ever used. It will last 6 month. It will survive wiper blades and frequent wash. It even makes bug removal a breeze. When ice from on the windshield, I just push it away. The downside, this product is pretty expensive. $5 per application.

give it a shot, you would defintely like it.

If it works so well and lasts so long, why would you want to get rid of it?
