Default where do you park?

so i dont have a big garage- two car garage with two cars... and its pretty full with the bike. the bike is in there and it fits in front of my car, but its a hassle everytime i want to ride i gotta first move my car to get the bike out. when i want to take it to work, i have to move out the car, take the bike out and put the car back... seems easier just to take the car!!

wondering if i should try to rearrange the garage and try to park the bike between the cars- would be a very tight squeeze... or maybe try to pull the car in further and put the bike behind? was thinking that if the bike was in between my wife would surely hit it when she pulls in or out!! and not sure that i can make behind the car work either.

what do you do???

Put the car in first.

It's easier to move the bike in normal clothes than it is to move the car in leathers

I put the car in first. I ride my bike every day and only bring the car out on weekends. Even then, it only takes an extra 30 seconds to move the bike out of the way. When I drive a lot, I just rearrange and leave the bike in front. Pick one or the other. haha.

lean the bike away from the car or towards it?
(or does it matter?- i had a bicycle fall on my hood cause it was leaning towards the car, which is why i ask how you park yours)

lean it away from the car, not because of fall worry, but because it'll be easier to get on/off of it when you have to move it or be able to walk between the car and the bike.

Or get one of those automated car putter away thingies I've been seeing at all the new condos.

I actually lean into the car. I can get it more compact this way as I don't have to worry about scraping the bike muffler into the car's bumper when I put the bike in. And I get the mirrors overhanging the car, instead of overhanging outwards.
