Better-looking is subjective, but the others are facts. Other facts have also been mentioned: 4 seats vs. 2, etc. I, myself, like the RX8 as well. It'd be my top choice if I were looking for a sub $30K 4-seat coupe/sedan.

s2000 just because of fuel economy and vert..

i personally HATE the design of the RX-8 (looks bloated to me)
and if you dont like the vert (get a CR? or just take out the top and add a hardtop)

 

At 4000 lb., the G8 isn't exactly contending with the 3000 lb. RX-8 on the "sport" side of the equation.

The RX-8 is a smallish 4-door coupe, essentially a fixed-roof 2+2 S2000, whereas the G8 is a hulking sedan.

 

i narrowed my options to same as you have and here i am... S2000 any day!

test drove an 04 rx8 and it didnt do it for me or my wife; now with the S... haha she was impressed with a 3rd gear pull...

something about the engine flooding and the lack of WOW in my eyes made me settle for the S and the "its honda; welcome to the 200,000+ miles club" its a comment i get every so often..

remember... VTEC just kicked in YO!

I've driven both. While the RX-8 is a fine handling car, the S2K was more exciting to drive.

You should have Driven an AP2 before deciding. there is a difference in the torque and the bigger wheels and tires.
