Fortunate there wasn't another car following closely behind the truck.

I would have probably been hard on the brakes and driving straight. I'd probably have been more worried about going under the trailor had I gone left. But it's difficult to say when you've got a slit second to react.

Holy cow! What a close call. I'd like to think that I would react in a similar fashion, but there is really no telling.

Scary, the driver handled that well. I wonder if he saw around the truck and knew he had room or he was just lucky there wasn't a closely following car behind the truck.

Wow what a close call. A lot of luck and being calm went into that maneuver. At least no one got hurt

Do you play videogames? Crashes similar to that one happen all the time. Although reality is different, your videogame reaction might predict how you would react in a real life accident.

In that split second, it's not possible to rationalize the decision. But if there were some other vehicle right behind the truck, you would hope it would realize what was happening and be attempting to slow down as well. But regardless, as long as whatever is behind the truck has less mass than the truck, you'd rather hit it than hit the truck.

Wow that was crazy. That was really a combination of good luck and good reaction.
