Wow.. Honda problem
Wow... I've had my first Honda problem in about 3 years... the weather proofing under my spoiler on the Pilot has come off and hangs down a bit on the rear window. This will be the first problem I've had in a Honda since my TL moon roof rattle in 93 and then before that my S2000 clutch problem in 2001. Damn Honda makes unreliable cars

things are usually meant to eventually break. but i guarantee that pilot will outlast any of the other suv choices you had in mind.

Perhaps - but he's stuck driving a boring, ugly, uninspired, based on a minivan, soccer-mom mobile. Yuck.
You have one...jealous that his is bigger?

The Pilot is a very good SUV - but it's nauseatingly boring. That was my point.

I guess that I just expect a lot more from a 'truck'. My 6 speed manual, sport package, staggered wheel X3 has better brakes and steering feel than my S. It pulls 0.88g on a skidpad and handles like a sports sedan. It doesn't understeer in corners, and with my winter tires on I can do beautiful 4 wheel drifts on highway offramps/onramps. Even with my Pilot Sport summer tires on I can throw the tail out in corners and have an amazing amount of fun.

Regardless how a truck performs, a car can do better.
Let trucks do what it does and cars do what it does, please
don't get confused with one or the other.
Don't insult other ppl's ride when you paid that much money for
less.
Btw, my advise to you is take ur four wheel drifts off the highways.
Do it somewhere that you only endanger yourself and not others.
