I am about to purchase a cbr600rr throught tradeitsecure.com The seller is selling the bike for about 3k less than what its worth so Im a litle skeptical. But he was recently in a car accident and he needs the money asap to pay his hospital bills and what not. So anyways he offered to complete the transaction through http://www.tradeitsecure.com/. which is a 3rd party escrow company. I transfer them the funds, they verify it, the seller ships the bike, I have a 14day inspection period to verify the bike, I then verify the bike and finally they transfer the funds to the seller. I've heard of tradesecure.com before but never tradeitsecure.com so Im just wondering if anyone has used this service before. If so how did it go and is secure?

I signed up with them and everything seems legit. But the only thing that is throwing me off is that the website seems pretty slow, I would think that a 3rd party escrow company would have a better connection. They are also located in the Netherlands.

BTW the seller has 41 all positive previous transactions with tradeitsecure.com

if it was your money, would you trust this website and go ahead with the transaction?

 

Why not offer to use Escrow(.com) instead of Tradeitsecure(.com)?

 

If you are skeptical why not have someone inspect the bike for you? Where is the seller located? Is he providing you with any documentation that he actually owns the bike? DO you have legitimate contact info.? All of these are signs of a scam and I rather just pay someone to look at the bike to make sure its legit than use those escrow BS.

My vote is that its a scam unless you can tell me more.
