Default XA or FIT

Im currently in the market looking for a used cheap, reliable 4 door hatchback as my DD. Im currently stuck between a 2006 scion XA or a 2007 Honda FIT. The only problem is, that the Honda FIT has a salvage title and the shop selling it wants 10K for it The xa has a clear title and the private owner is looking for 8K
Here are some of the details of both vehicles:
(Honda FIT)
MY:2007
Title: Salvage
Mileage: 19K
price: 10K
Also it not really the color i want but im just gunna use it as a DD for Gas mileage.

(Scion XA)
MY:2006
Title: Clear
Mileage:20K
price: 8K
color doesnt really bother me for the scion.

Im not too sure, which i should bite on? Any info on both cars would be nice.

Thanks

Between those two get the Scion. It's not worth it. That is a big difference over another similar Fit with a clear title, but it's a huge gamble. What about a used Civic hatch? Do you need a newer car?

agreed with all the above: that scion, a different fit, or a different car altogether

Thanks for the input everyone, yeah the scion is looking better now. I wouldnt mind a civic hatch, but where i live its pretty hard to find one that hasnt been tampered with or has had thousands of dollars in mods in it. Was considering a EP3 but couldnt find any Well im gunna look at the FIT today and if i can get a REALLY good price, ill post up what happens. Im gunna try check out the XA sometime this week aswell.

Thanks

-> ...

- used clean title Civic hatch > clean title Fit > xA > salvage title Fit > salvage title Civic hatch.

^ Nuff said.

xA, or find another Fit. Finding a non-salvage non-ultra high mileage Fit for less than 10k is difficult.

If one is choosing between the two your mentioned then I would chose the xA if not then I would just look for another Fit.
