I read on another forum that the XGA was actually a April Fools joke. Any one know anything about this?

Yup. Some British auto journalist. Funny how far a little April Fools joke got.

 

It would've been obvious had it been posted ON April 1st, rather than a day before.

There was an April Fool's article on S2Ki talking about it.

But the rumor that there'll be a car called XGA and that it'll replace the S2000 pre-dates that article:

Well, that was simply the deficit of those in that particular time zone. When the article was released, it was April Fool's Day someplace in the S2Ki world. The United States was where the article originated, but the United States isn't the beginning of time.
