Notice in this article they had a comment on the Corvette's snap oversteer as well. Scary. I think we might have approached the limit of even max rubber & suspension.

pretty much confirms my impressions driving a C6 Z51...generates the big #'s, but doesn't feel as good as it should doing it. Still a lot of bang for the buck, and very comfy for such a high performance car.

Swapping back and forth between an S2000 and C6 (both Z51 and Z06, I have driven both), the C6 gives the impression that it's a lot softer riding and bigger, WHICH IT IS. However, a lot of it is perception. The C6 still handles great, it's just a much different feel than the S2000.

If you had an opportunity to spend a few days with a C6, you'd learn to adapt your driving style to fit how the car feels. Though, I am the first to admit that the C6, even the Z51, not so much the Z06, feels soft when you first get into it.
