Z06 vs Vipers

Little Info:
This is TWS counter-clockwise...he's movin!
It's got 6 piston brembo brakes too. LG coilovers and pfadt sway bars.
Little Info:
The times were posted. John was over four seconds faster than the next car in his group. He ended up fourth fastest overall but, it should be noted. In the morning session John beat the two fastest Viper in this video session. Business commitments and inclimate weather forced John to cut short his day. He thought his car had a 1:48 or 49 in it once the track warmed. that would have put him right there with the fastest Viper race car. Keep in mind that this is a head and cams Z06 with coilovers
Check the first session on Toyo RA 1s it is my favorite. John was driving the wheels off the car to beat the Vipers on Hoosier race rubber.

I've watched John Page's vid at length and JP is a very good driver, but not an excellent driver. You can see where there is still more in the car as he circles the track.
I honestly think the car is a 1:47 machine as it sits, which is unbelievable for TWS with a street car.

The brake system looks good. There are some pictures floating around of the new 6 piston system from Brembo for the z06. Too bad cheby didn't just nut up and put them on from the factory!
This is a Lingenfelter Heads/Cam Z06. I guess 21 century muscle cars is a distributor and installer of Lingenfelter stuff?

21CMC is an authorized installer of Ligenfelter stuff. They are the only other shop in the world besides the original in Indiana. The wife of John Page is John Ligenfelters daughter. Must be nice. Both John and Kerri are good people and have a great shop and great reputation.
I know people HATE it when I mention my "future" C6 , but my car will be going to 21CMC for mods, most likely brakes, long-tube headers, and gears.

IIRC, the auto has 2.56 standard and 2.73 with the performance package for the six-speed automatic. The six-speed manual has the 3.42 rear end. I'll most likely go 3.90's. I loved the 4.10's in my '01 C5.
I could be wrong on the six-speed automatic as I'm not very familiar with that option. I knew the old 4-speed had 2.73 standard and 3.15 as the performance axle. The six-speed ratios messed me all up.

Impressive and fun to watch. Pretty amazing how fast he gets around even with Vipers in the way.
My fastest TWS CC laps in the S2000 were 2:05 but most days I was struggling to stay under 2:10... I think the fastest S2000 laps I have seen are about 2 minutes flat.

where is this track? looks pretty good... Z was flying... from what ive read, shock damping and tires are the handling limitations for the car stock... looks like he addressed both...
stock for stock, its concievable a Z06 is 10+ seconds faster than an S2000...

edit: The more I look at it you could be right..maybe more like 675 or so. Those Comp coupes are limited to what? 550? something with more experience might be able to verify if I'm even close to right.
TWS 2.9 mile CCW configuration.

Lots of elevation changes, fun track. The surface needs some work, but it's fun.
Yeah, it's a long track. I would think a stock Z06 would be at least 10 secs faster then an S2000.
