Z4 vs S2000
the z4 has a lot more torque and if you get a 2004 you can get 10k off msrp, my friend just bought a 3.0 for 35k and got 2.9 apr so it was comparable. i think the z4 has more creature comforts like heated seats, its better everyday becuase of the torque and also has smg option. overall just more space and more comfortable, i think teh sport seats in the z4 offer better support as well. plus bmws stability control program is good for raining days, keep you from crashing and more airbags and added safety. s2000 i think looks better.

The Z4 is Gods answer to the sport car. If we could afford one we all would have one. Personally I'm just praying that Honda discontinues the S and that it will then appreciate to the point where I can sell it and purchase the bimmer. I can't believe that I got to drive this piece of crap around all summer and they get to drive the Z. What really pisses me off is that the car is so damn reliable I can't even brag to my buddies how expensive it is to maintain. Life sucks.

I have the Z4 3.0 SMG and have test-driven the S2000 many times. In my opinion there's no need to knock on either car. The Z4 cost more and is probably worth more (heated seats, fully auto-top, DSC (make bad drivers look good), much better stereo system, SMG as an option (no human being can shift better than the SMG 1000 out of 1000 times). So I don't think one can say S2000 is a better choice simply because it's cheaper. It simply fills different needs for different folks. On the other hand the S2000 has all that's needed in a pure sports car, and is probably a better track car than the Z4. I don't think one can get a better sports car t the price of the S2000. Some think the Z4 is ugly, some think the S2k resembles a Miata, but in my opinions both are beautiful and very special cars and anyone would be lucky to own either of them.
