I'd go with the G35. 13k less, nissan quality. I'm also very hesitant to pick a sport car from a maker who never really achieved anything in motorsport (like hyundai, KIA). I think they have quality product for the mainstream market but not sure about their sport division.

The Hyundai is a lot of value for the money, but even a G35 interior is nicer and I think the car itself is decent. For the price difference you listed - $23k or so, I'd think the G35 would be a no-brainer though. Lux-sports coupe vs a "normal" sports coupe at half-again the price.
Fwiw, I'm a huge fan of Hyundai and Nissan - have a vehicle from both makes, and both have been perfectly reliable. Still, the G35 coupe was nice when it came out and is essentially the evolution of your Z.

Toyota quality? Infiniti is Nissan and it's not even close to Toyota quality and I have a Nissan.

I personally would think going to each respective forum and reading their pinned topics (Common problems, things to look for, is this car worth it, etc) would be FAR better than going to a completely unrelated forum and ask them where 90% of the population has owned neither.

I'd go for the Hyundai, much newer, less common and has prettier lines. You are in more control of the car since there's no previous history with it.
