My girlfriend has an 05 Element and the great thing about it is the cargo capacity and it is a great road trip machine but on the other hand we both agree my 05 Forester Turbo is better! The Forester has a better ride except on really rough roads plus has 110 hp more, heated seats, plus the gas mileage is similar except the Subie gets a little better on the highway sometimes.

Honda is going el cheapo for projectors

Man I've been craving for a used Element lately. Perfect car for me at the moment and long term use too.

The RSX never had projectors. The new accord coupe, and last gen mmc pilot had them. I certainly hope people don't buy cars simply because they have projector beam headlights. Personally i'd rather have reflectors.

I believe the Element was designed specifically for the American market. The theme is outdoor travel/sporting.

Honda only sold it in other countries in case a minority of people also wanted a car that catered to the same needs.

i somehow like the current ones better? in terms of the look i guess. of course there should be lots of interior upgrades for the 2009.

2008 Element SC looks way better to me lol, with the projector light.

I never did understand the element, and I like quirky cars. I mean, for all intents and purposes, isn;t the crv basically the same thing (in terms of abilities)? I mean it has this quasi rugged look to it, but it cant back it like the fj can. I do like how it has the rubber interior which makes home depot trips with the family dog a stress free experience, but aside from that I think I'd rather have the crv.
Well, I hope a lot of people share my sentiment, because itll drive down the price and at the right price it could win me over, lol. Just wished that people hated the previous gen xB more.
