2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe
Cadillac will start selling the 2011 CTS Coupe in late 2010 in both RWD and AWD forms, with options for both manual and automatic transmissions. They also confirmed that there will be a -V variant.

It looks taller/fatter than the concept and I'm not sure that it works nearly as well. I'll have to wait to see it in person but it almost looks too thick to me. There seems to be too much sheetmetal over the rear wheel wells.
Either way, should be a nice GT coupe and the -V version should be extremely quick.
Thoughts?

It's a nice car, no doubt. Great that they're finally making a coupe version, as well as the V coupe, but the regular one with the direct-injected V6 should make for a nice car too. The V will be insane I'd bet.
My only gripe is that car has the hugest ass I've ever seen.

The belt line is too high in the back. It makes what are rather large wheels actually look small. I'd like to see some interior pictures. The concept car had an interior that was similar but unique from the sedan. I'm curious if the coupe will have the same thing.

I can't imagine this will be a big seller. Its got a love it or hate it look, and most people who want the luxury ride want a four door. I bet it sells about as well as the other caddy coupe that was based on the Vette. What was that thing called?

The should sell better than the Caddy Vette. The Caddy Vette's interior wasn't up to it's price point and really, it was a very expensive car at over $70k. This car is far more reasonable (presumably) and will probably sell reasonably well as a luxury coupe. Assuming it's butt looks smaller in person.

Looks surprisingly good in profile-- similar overall proportions to the S5. Even the wheels look good (no chrome!).
The rear is large, but I imagine that's there to accommodate a future folding hardtop.

The Sportwagon is still the best looking of the CTS line.
If only it seated three kids across the back, in their car seats. I'd much rather it than the MDX, Pilot, Enclave, Odyssey or similarly large and "not fun" vehicle I'll end up buying when we have our next kid.
