The idea is interesting enough-add an electric motor to provide maximum torque exactly where a forced induction engine needs it- right off idle.

That being said, I just don't dig electric motors in performance cars. I'm a purist; a dinosaur who values the sound and feeling of a well made engine over the efficiency and performance of the latest gagetry. I'd take high revs and three pedals any day over a robotic car that laps the Nordschleife in under 7:30.

I like this concept better

WAY TOO CADILLAC!

First one is drop dead gorgeous!

Get used to it guys Hybrid is the wave of the future and that ain't all bad, if they can get the weight down and the battery issue resolved. But increased production should answer both issues.

Priced at $100K, it's not the future of anything for quite a while.

It wouldn't be ugly if it were German, right? Anyone who sees the GT-R in person and still thinks it's ugly needs to have their eyes checked. It's not gorgeous but it's far from ugly.
So if the GT-R is ugly to me, then I need to check my eyes?
Is look/styling of anything be it a car, shoe, hat or or a boat a fact or opinion?

I think I like the current GT-R better.
Hate that huge wheel arch.
Although, I'm sure it'll look good when they come up with a final design.

Don't waste your breath. Ears become deaf when sense is spoken.

Haters will still hate simply because it's a high-performance Japanese car.
And fanbois will obsess over it simply because it's a high-performance Japanese car.
