So you confirm a crucial aspect in what im saying, and then call me ignorant. That's grand You're pretty dense!

People do some funny things for fun. And your point in stating this is because.... you feel the miata chassis is a better handling fit for a v8 then the s2k? Answer carefully...

It wouldn't kill you to learn the word "than"
I never said or implied that the Miata is a better handling fit for a V8 than the S2k.
You said:
The Miata is too small and stubby of a car, the chassis doesn't have the best compromise of flickability while also being stabile well into triple digit speeds.
I am here to tell you that there are plenty of Miatas of every generation out there that are totally flickable while also being perfectly stable very well into triple digit speeds. I was just giving one example.

The S2000 is/was a fantastic car. But there's nothing magical about it. It's dimensions aren't *perfect*. If you think it's the "perfect" car for you, fine. But there is more than one way to build a fun-handling, flickable, and stable car...

A ls3 powered miata stable and balanced at triple digit speeds, got it

Never said the s2k has the perfect dimensions ( ive modified mine to further improve handling and corning grip) just better 'than' the miatas or what it ever could be.

We can go around in circles all day, but im tired of pointless conversation about less exciting cars.

I would drive my 03 S2000 over the baddest Miata ever built! Mine isn't even powerful, but at least it is special. The miata just seems generic and commonplace by comparison. I definitely wouldn't describe the S2000 as particularly stable at triple digits, at least not compared to other cars I have owned. I drove one of the earliest Miatas at the track once a few years ago and it was a blast, too.

Not just that car, COUNTLESS modded Miatas that are FAST and STABLE at speed. TBH high speed stability is more a function of aero than wheelbase. Ferinstance my V8 FD was a bit unstable over 150mph with a 99+ splitter up front and no rear wing, but supremely stable with the addition of a 99+ rear wing. Mods beget other mods, nothing new.

We got a "than", yay! But how are the S2k's dimensions "better"? Better for what? If a 94" wheelbase is "better" than a 90" wheelbase, would a 95" wheelbase (FD!) be better still? You've modded your S2k, what's to prevent someone from modding a Miata to have the exact same "better" dimensions?

I guarantee there are countless Miatas out there that are more exciting to drive than your S2000. Or my 550hp FD. To just decide "all Miatas are lame" when they are in fact a FANTASTIC canvas to start out with is short-sighted on your part. IMO!

Miatas are kick-ass and we are lucky to have them.

Miatas are tons of fun, even when compared to an s2000. And modded? Forget about it.

Back when I was young and (more) ignorant, I thought the S2000 wasn't anything special until I drove one.

I thought the same thing about Miatas, until I drove an ND.

I want an original Miata in white. Cause it's fun.

For the record, I have driven both LSX and LFX swapped Miatas, and both of those are just as capable of handling the power and added weight of both those drivetrains as an S2000. Both of these cars were hilariously fast, capable track cars with more than enough grip. The shorter wheelbase made absolutely no difference in the way the cars drove; they were as friendly and easy to drive as a stock Miata. One of my best friends is the owner of V8 Roadsters, so I have a TON of seat time in Miatas. That's why I'm sitting here laughing at you. You OBVIOUSLY have no idea what you're talking about.
