God I want one... so beautiful, sat in one last month and fell in love! Congrats!
Definitely need to get another job, been so stagnant down here in Tampa. Need to get out of the construction industry, so I can afford one of these some day. Sorry for the little rant! Someday... someday!! Congrats again!

Very Nice. I have said it before.... IMHO the 911 is the best sports car in the world. It is truly the "Jack of all trades" kind of car. Daily driver, track car, weekend trip car, taking kids to school car, date night car etc etc.
Please give us a detailed review when you have some miles on it.

You don't have to use 7th if you don't want - 6th is still fine for cruising - but it's certainly got to be handy on the highway.

I assume that when you say "overdrive," you aren't talking about a gear ratio less than 1:1, but rather a cruising/economy gear. Which isn't the case with 7spd Porsches. Their 6th gear is, like with the S2000, purely for performance. Top speed in a 991 will be reached in 6th. 7th is there for efficiency and economy. So imagine an S2000, which doesn't have an "overdrive gear" in your sense, keeping the same 1st through 6th gears but getting a 7th taller gear for economy during high-speed cruising.

Very nice car!!
There is a new 991 just around the corner from where I live. Not a cabrio, but still oh so sexy in the flesh.
It looks like that roof line is softer.
