Well I was a huge critic of the lfa, but I gotta say, it is very fast (I though it was going to be slower, so glad that was cleared up), I mean when you're already in the mid 3 seconds to 60, does it really need to get any faster? I love the interior, and the sound is great. I'm sure if I see it in person it will be stunning, but for that kind of dough, there just isn't enough wow factor for me, it's all too... Lexus. And if it were to be made by Ferrari, I'd say it's too vanilla, which is probably why I'm not a fan of the 599. Too well thought out, not enough passion or risk. I mean, you look at a Pagani or lambo you go wtf, ferrari you got the badge, but the lfa you get a car that shoulda been half the price. They arent making any money on it because they sunk a lot of costs into it, it's what happens when you go from making rebaded toyotas to high end sportscars.
I love that instrument cluster though, I reacted exactly how Hammond did, lol.

North to 60, 3. 7 seconds? The 80k GTR is faster. How much is this thing again? Yeah, yeah, before you say it, it's not just about straight line speed. But the GTR is no slouch around the track at all. Considering Nissan made all that jam for 80k, this thing is a rip. I don't care if sh1ts electrons, it cost too much.

It's just that certain posts by certain members of this forum seem to maintain that racism is the only reason a person might not find either car desirable.

First of all, it's not "north". Second, Lexus rates the car as 0-62mph in 3.7s, so 0-60 should be less than that. A competent driver should have no trouble getting 3.5s or lower, if traction permits on a dry road. The GT-R has AWD, it's not impossible for it to get 3s to 60. But beyond that, it'll lose to cars with more power. For example, it'll hang or slightly beat the ZR1 to 60, but not long after that, the ZR1 will leave it behind. And stop comparing it to the GT-R or ZR1! The LFA's interior alone costs more than those cars.
