If Herb Chambers moves Alfa close to my house, which they said would be at their Sudbury location; an Alfa of any model is high on my list. Stelvio is the one that will put Alfa on front stage.

I saw that article - sounds like they nailed the performance/execution...but the reliability will let it down. A shame (for now).

On a somewhat related note, Savage Geese (amateur automotive youtuber with incredible production) did a review with the Fiat 124. It already had a CEL which they actually looked up. I forget what it was, but damn. That's horrible.

Who buys an Italian car with reliability being the primary motivation?

I just window shopped a new Giulia last night, I found the interior a quite pleasant place. That said, they only had AWD models & the salesman was not someone I'd ever do business with, so I didn't bother test driving anything. Great looking car though.

I don't expect Toyota levels of reliability (years of trouble free driving). But at this price point, in this era, asking for a year of issue free driving should not be to tall a barrier to cross.

you're acting like we're buying an exotic. A base model Guilia should be as reliable as the Germans at least. If not, pass.

You are both right, but Italian cars always seem to fall short on reliability.

Doesn't matter if it's a Multipla, Punto, or Quattroporte... Part of the charm I suppose? Italian cars have personality; between the driver engagement, looks, and temperament they are closer to being "alive".

Just think; someone in a base Fiat can experience the same sticky buttons as a Ferrari!
