Default Anybody rent a Hertz Shelby GT-H Mustang?

I booked a rental car today for a week vacation/brothers wedding.

The Ford Hertz-Shelby Mustang GT-H popped up, $450/week, unlimited mileage. I thought these typically rented for like $250/day with serious mileage limitations...

Is it worth an extra $200 or so to drive one of these babies around for a week? 500 made, bumped motor, bumped suspension, cool gold and black paint job and hood pins...

$450/week? Where did you find that deal? I'm renting a POS Sebring convertible in Vancouver in Aug/Sept. for twice that rate! I'd love to get my hands on one of those instead...

On-line searching rentals from SFO, with AAA 10% discount code 006.

I've read that they only have them at a handful of locations.

Can I use up $450 worth of rubber in a week?

I'd rent one at that price - last I read they were going for like $150 a day!

Although they're not the greatest autoX cars, I'm tempted to rent one just to do it.

Heck yes, at that price I'd be all over it. When we take vacations we usually get Jags or other high end Hertz cars on freebie points. I'm hoping for one of these next time.

I saw two in Indianapolis Airport. Yes they are all Autos, I assume they probably have some traction control system that cannot be disengaged such that one cannot roast the tires. If thats the case, then theyre no worth renting..
