Default blue smoke from prelude

so i didn't know where to post this topic, but i need some help figuring out what could be wrong with my prelude.

it has 251,000 mile, i did a compression test on it and it has 175,165,170,175.
there's a lot of blue smoke coming out while accelarating.

what could it be wrong?

Your Prelude is worn out, like all the rest of the 250K mile Preludes.

Keep adding oil or send it to the junkyard.

No chance of valve seals causing the 20psi of compression loss on a healthy H22..

250K... It's allowed to smoke

Blue smoke on acceleration means your piston rings are shot. Time for either a new motor or a new car.

Do you have "pre-blue-smoke" compression numbers? Those numbers don't look too bad to me. I'm guessing a b21 is lower compression than a H22 and/or F20C, so the compression numbers are expected to be lower. Are they within the Mfr recommended range?

I'd probably vote for a leakdown test, if the numbers are actually low. My guess is that Jimmies is right... probably piston rings are going bad.

ya well i'm within specs on compression. it could be piston rings. oh by the way i have a s2000, ep3 and the prelude.

where can i get the stuff to do the leak down test to see if is the piston rings
