Wow... 11,000 RPM's! That's going to be sick if they do it.

Hmmm, M cars usually don't last past 100k, now a bimmer revving to 11k, I can't imagine how reliability is with that?

Who knows though until it hits the streets..

BMW has the ability to do an 11k rpm engine, but I doubt I'll have the ability to afford it...

That car will be very popular with the aftermarket performance crowd. If it does come into production.

1 series is already a beast. i think thats an old blog. they plan on using the 335i twin turbo motor for the 1 series. Its been confirmed several times. dunno if this 11k will ever see the light of day but its definately not going in the 1 series

Of course this is a very sketchy rumor so it's very unlikely to come true, but interesting nonetheless. As S2000 owners, and thus rev junkies, I for one think this would be a very fun little motor. It would be great if Honda could make something like this and pop it in the next gen S2000 (if that ever even happens)

I'm curious about the displacement of the motor and the lack of torque.

Would only be fun in a light weight version like the tii. If not l'll stick to the turbo 6.
