Default bmw z8

i was at the doctor's office yesterday, and saw an article on a possible new bmw z8. did a little searching online, and came up with the same pics i saw, except it says that they are an artist rendering, not actual photos.

anyway, does anyone else think it resembles the S? change the bumper/headlights and front looks like the S. the sides and lines that go to the rear look exactly like it. that 3/4 view from the back kinda looks like it, too.

Why? If they're supercharging it and it's going to make less hp MODIFIED than the stock V12 760Li, who cares? Maybe I'm spoiled now, but I'd expect Alpina to at least get close to 500hp out of it.

I agree, the best way to make a new z8 is to take the old shell and drop the v10 in it.

The front looks nice, the seats look a bit too big, and the back looks very forgettable. Overall I'm disappointed but maybe it will be better once it's finalized and seen in person. I hope so.

For that price it better have the 500 hp V10. A 400 hp V8 would be a serious step back. The original Z8 had the original M5 400 hp motor. At a minimum, it needs the current M5's engine (500 hp V10) in there if they are going to sell it for that price range.
