As long as the content of link is being posted with the link, its no different than what others do with other sites. If its nothing but a link to another site, or not a direct link to content, that would be an issue. Being new to the site and posting links is supsicious, though the OP did post an introduction stating what he is about, and does post elsewhere on the site.

The main difference with other people posting links to Edmunds, jalopnik, C&D, etc. etc., is that it's not THEIR site.

The OP's account is 3 days old.

In those 3 days, he has started 10 new threads with a direct content link to Torque Magazine.

I come to car talk for different opinions and threads. If I wanted to go to torque magazine, I would. This is just a cheap-ass ploy to drive traffic to HIS WEBSITE.

How is that allowed?!?

Its borderline, but people post links to other sites all the time, and the content is relevant to the forum. If all the OP did was spam links, it would be different, but so far he's posting in other threads. If you want to be cynical about it, as long as he's going to work that hard to post stuff, in Car Talk, I don't have an issue with it for now, but the Admins are looking into it. You can see the pic and read the content without clicking through.

This concept is not sanctioned or planned by the VW group. It's just a concept developed by an independent designer. There is nothing to be gleened from this as to the next Bugatti.

Could you explain the copyright reason that you have that you need to post your website link to?

Your borrowing the information from another site anyway. You do give them credit on your site, but there is no need for you to give your site credit on s2ki as your site did not create the original material.

Carscoop.blogspot.com (good site to)

Unless I am missing something.

Notice all the keywords on their home page? The prominent link for advertising inquiries?

They're just trying to boost traffic so they can increase advertising revenue.
