1985 Dodge Charger ($500 first car!)
1985 Toyota Corolla GTS hatch
1985 Toyota Corolla GTS coupe
1986 Toyota Corolla GTS hatch
1986 Toyota Corolla GTS coupe
1987 Toyota Corolla SR5 hatch
1998 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS
1996 Subaru Impreza wagon
1999 Subaru Impreza OBS
2005 Lancer Evolution GSR
2007 Toyota Sienna
2005 Subaru Legacy GT Wagon
2003 Honda S2000
I'm a big hatch/wagon fan. I like to think I was ahead of the curve on drifting and tuner Subarus by about 5 years each.
Last three are current cars. Plus various beaters and flippers that I've gone through the years. 240SX, WRX, MKI/MKII MR2, Celica GTS, GTI and many other, more pedestrian vehicles.
There's really nothing new that I want except a ND2 Miata, MB Sprinter conversion and maybe Genesis G70 (the supposed shooting brake has me really interested). I'd be all over a new 86 if they gave it a less asthmatic engine. Most other newer offerings don't excite me much. WRX/STIs and pony cars are way too heavy; forsake VW after a string of bad beaters; BMW is blah these days, Audi's suck even more than VW, MB/Lexus/Infiniti/Acura *yawn*. I've got at least another 15 years with kids that a supercar is out of the question. Car searching is typically for mid-80s to mid-00s vehicles.

Owned:
'98 Integra LS
'01 M5
'02 S2000
'11 M3 sedan
'07 Elise (current)
(all manual)
Want to own (realistic/nearish future - true list of "want to own" is too long for one lifetime):
Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio
Tesla Model 3 Performance
2018+ Merc E63S Wagon
Ferrari FF
Aston Rapide (pre-facelift)
Ferrari F430 Spider
Just sold my E90 M3 because I have no need for a sedan for the next year (work from home and no daycare for the kid = my wife's C-class is all we need). Will re-evaluate family sedan/commute needs then and considering the first 4. Alfa reliability worries me too much, Model 3 Perf was fun but wondering if it would get old after a while, being someone who doesn't even like ATs or turbos generally.
The Merc and FF are obviously a different league price-wise, and would probably only happen if we move from NorCal to Seattle and trade dry, sunny, amazing roads for boring wet ones, in which case I would probably sell the Elise and maybe get an S2000 again for sunny days. If we stay here, the Elise is perfect but I can't deny I really want an F430...
