Create a Car Talk Subforum?
I'm serious...
"What should I buy" threads have pretty much taken over this section.
It seems that while it's sometimes fun to debate the merits of certain cars within the parameters of a given price range that maybe these (numerous) threads need to be confined to a certain area rather than becoming the unintended focus of "Car Talk".
Am I the only one who feels this way?

I think they're fine. What don't you like about them? I also think you're exaggerating a bit when you say they're "becoming the focus of Car Talk" -- at the time I posted this, eight of the twenty-five threads on the front page of the forum were about people buying cars, and some of those were specific to a particular car (e.g. Volkswagen GTI, Porsche GT3).

I think it's clear that what I was saying is I think it needs to be confined before that happens.

For one, I don't think they "have pretty much taken over this section."
For another, I think they're interesting threads (conditional on the cars being discussed) because they foster interesting discussion about using the cars, and their relative value - not just, say, a dry repetition of stats.

I vote for a subforum named "What should Car Talk be named?"
Additional subforums:
Should I buy?
Should I trade?
Should I sell?
GT-R
BMW
Porsche
Rotaries are the Devil
Special LFA Sub-subforums:
LFA General
LFA Sucks
No the LFA doesn't suck and you can't talk about it because you can't afford it

Remember when everyone wanted Car Talk renamed GT-R Talk? These posts come and go, such is life in Car Talk. Maybe those posts should be moved to Money and Investing...
which turned into locked thread talk
