Watched the ad.
The actual line was "The most impressive Honda ever"
The job of the ad is to sell car. mentioning a discontinued model doesn't sell car.
Also, "most impressive" is debatable. In its own way, the Accord is more impressive than the S2k in many aspects.
Life is too short to read too much into a harmless ad.

I actually think the original NSX is probably the best and most impressive Honda ever.

Nah - my feelings don't get hurt when somebody expresses an opinion that's not exactly like mine.

I wish they'd all stay together for 2 more years. It's looking like a bust up after this season with off/def co's splitting
I'm going to enjoy it for what it is. Danny was phenom yesterday in the clutch, as well as TB12. That last throw and catch for 6 was phenom.

I did actually catch that comment and immediately thought of the S2000 and the NSX, but figured in the U.S. market, that excluded the NSX since it's Acura. Then, I thought about how cool technology and crap the new Accord 2.0T has on it and figured it actually probably is the most "overall" impressive Honda that has been ever made for the majority of consumers out there. For the crazy car enthusiasts sports car subset 1% of driver's the S2000 and new Civic Type R could definitely make a case, but Honda isn't worried about the 1%, they are worried about selling an Accord to the 99%.
