Excellent MINI site
After all this reading about the new MINI and seeing one being paraded around The Speedway during the USGP I was anxious to see the one up close at the San Jose Auto Show. It is a highly-modified RHD model from Mini Mania. At any rate attending the show with my British friend was exciting...evidently he has precious memories about the one he drove in Blighty in the old days which related to some amorous adventures he had while owning it (not in the car itself, but never mind....).
At any rate I became interested in some more info and found a truly excellent website...www.miniusa.com. Check it out, it is slick and funny as hell to boot. I have always loved Mini Coopers, of course I would never dream of forsaking my S2000 but my daughter (23 yrs. old, '97 Civic) allowed as how she would find a British Racing Green Cooper S very desirable

No offense but your concept really (and yes I agree, your site) sucks. I was just pointing out a really slick site for what I think is a great idea for a new vehicle, to share with other enthusiasts like fellow S2000 owners. I know nobody is obligated to give you (or that self-serving guy with the Ferrari thing) anything and sure, I suppose some out there think it's just funny and quirky enough to elicit a buck. I guess I am a bit disturbed that my post becomes a vulgar commercial opportunity for what I consider to be a very unworthy (and not nearly humorous enough) cause.

Bob - maybe you should re-read my post. Its not my site. Actually the buymeaferrari.com site that you mention IS mine. Yes, I came up with the idea, and yes, I'm the one out there going for the bottom feeders of the pyramid scheme, out there begging for dollars. But if you don't get it, you don't get it and it doesn't amuse you one bit. There's nothing I can do to change your opinion of that.
The site is there as a venture for me, and it is mainly directed towards two types of individuals: 1) those that find it too absurd that they laugh at the idea, and 2) those that find it too absurd that they laugh at the idea and send me a dollar.

All, no need to fight over this, it was just a comment no big deal and no offense should be taken, we are S2000 owner's and automotive enthusiasts.
The mini hasn't hit Canada yet for resale, but when it does I will be one of the first to check it out and see what the MSRP is.

I'm looking for an older 60's mini in the Colorado area if anyone can help. Preferably a Woody (wood panels on the side). I saw one restored and immediatly fell in love with it. I've wanted one ever since I was 14.
