No idea on the North American specs yet. I've heard the regular STi is incorporating changes made to the Spec C, which is very good news. (Spec C made 320hp from the factory.)

Well, I must say it is an improvement of sorts. Its an STi, right? Does that mean it'll have the 'competition' dogbox 6-speed, or will they continue to use the glass tranny from the Forester?
fwiw - My previous car was a Forester with 4EAT. I traded it because of the tranny. IMO, Subaru does not know how to build a decent transmission, manual or auto. Shame, really, for an otherwise decent platform.

Wow, that's a LOT less ugly!
Great car, great performance...does it resemble a Neon? Yes, most definitely.
Would I own an STi? Yes, by all means... Especially without the bugeyes, which was my biggest gripe about the exterior of that car when it was hatched, or, released, or whatever you want to call it...
