and you're right about the RDX- who in the F does Acura thinks they are? that SUV is not even remotely close to an NSX or typeR.

The SH-AWD works similarly to the NSX's (albeit the NSX's uses electric motors, and torque vectors in front), but they don't highlight that in their commercials. It's just kinda like, "Hey! We make this! We also make this!"

I am in the minority, but I think it WILL feel like a sports car to someone coming from a cushy larger SUV. This won't be some magic cornering machine that can bring home a chair from Ikea, but it will have a good fit in the market for people like me who like a decent handling vehicle but need utility. It's the reason I bought a canyon carver like the Toyota RAV 4 SE. This crossover is just filling a small niche. Some people have a sports car but want more utility so this may be just a nice happy medium between a sedan and SUV/truck. Over simplified analysis but I am indeed simple.

Umm, Acura is equally guilty, if not more since they open with the NSX and Integra Type R

What's funny is the Edge ST is probably faster than the RDX too.

Have you people ever tried to talk to non "car people" about cars? It's a massive exercise in restraint for me in most circumstances. Most people have no real conception of what a sports car or especially a driver's car is. They read a stat sheet with large numbers or see something flashy and think it must be something awesome. I think this tarted up edge has a good chance at selling. Do we not love capitalism here?

Try to trade or sell it a few years down the road and it won't be worth any more than scrap value. I love the blue colour though.
