Ford GT350R vs. Chevy ZL1

Finally got around to watching the vid, seems like the cars are polar opposites with the ZL1 being less direct (more comfy) with a ton of power and torque vs. the more focused and direct driving experience of the GT350R. Kind of reminds me of the previous generation AMG vs. M comparison tests, except the ZL1 actually outperforms the GT350R even around a race track, and this isn't even the 1LE variant.
As an owner of a C6Z I wouldn't know which one I'd take. The GT350R follows more of the same formula as my current car (lighter weight, n/a, etc.) but it's hard to beat 650 hp and tq with a backseat. I definitely don't like that they said the Camaro feels like it weighs 1,000 lbs more than the GT350R as that's one of my biggest complaints with my C6Z - it does not drive like a car with a 3,1xx lbs curb weight and "feels" like a heavier car.

Yeah I saw that too. And as much as I friggin adore that voodoo engine... am I the only one that thinks it's not the best sounding v8 until it goes past the 6500 rpm mark? The piping makes it sound great but put some corsas on a gm ls/it car or does coyote and man those cars sing. Also finally watched the video and man that supercharge lt4 sounds friggin amazing, just add some pipes and it'll sound demonic.

They've come a long way... Wouldn't be farfetch'd to say my next new sports car would very well be Domestic if not German. Japan has completely lost me.
